Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon is famous for these unique geologic structures called "hoodoos", rock spires that fill the canyon.

On our first day in Bryce I wasn't feeling well, so we checked out the visitor center and took a short walk to some viewpoints of the canyon.

Since we lost some time on day one, day two was our big day! We got up early to watch the sunrise from Inspiration Point:

Then we headed to Sunrise Point for one of our favorite hikes of the trip - we did the Figure Eight Combo Loop trail which descends into the canyon and winds in and among the hoodoos. This trail is 6.4 miles long and combines the Queen's Garden, Navajo Loop, and Peek-a-boo trails.

Hiking down between the hoodoos was awesome, and the morning light put on a show for us. Our stay at Bryce was short but beautiful.
