We took a nice hike at Willow River State Park over the holiday weekend. This park is about 10 minutes from Kyle's parents' house and I think it will become a park we frequent regularly when we visit them! We took the trail from River Road to the falls overlook - from there we could have walked down the stairs to the waterfall, but since they were so icy we chose to hike back to the car and drive to the other side of the park. From there, it's only a half-mile trail to the falls - it's very steep going back up, though!
