The Wisconsin Adventure is kicking it into full gear this month. These winter months were long and cold and ugly. But, spring is here in its freshness & newness and we are ready to hit the road and explore our state! We've checked a few things off the list already...Here they are:
#16. Walk through Wisconsin’s last original covered bridge - Covered Bridge Park, Cedarburg (03.30.14)
We were there to see the only remaining covered bridge in Wisconsin. There were originally more than 40, but this is the only one left. We took a cold stroll through the frozen park to check it out.
#12. Climb Lapham Peak’s observation tower (04.11.14)
Last Sunday was our first free warm day in a long while, so we drove over to Lapham Peak and took a long hike. We also climbed up the observation tower for a view of Wisconsin. The hike was nice and long and it just felt good to be outside and moving again.
I'm so happy that it's almost summer & we can enjoy life outdoors again!
