Highpoint: Sassafras Mountain
Elevation: 3,553ft
The second high point in our three-in-one day was Sassafrass Mountain, South Carolina.This was another drive-up highpoint with a short walk at the end. The drive was windy and slow, but not too long. We enjoyed the views at the top before moving on to the North Carolina highpoint.
